W!SE Financial Literacy 2026

Just announced... Virginia High School is the #10 High School in America in the W!SE financial literacy exam!  We have been in the Top 100 for multiple years in a row, and this is our second time being in the Top 10 of ALL high schools in America in Personal Finance after finishing sixth in 2023.

According to W!SE, its Top 100 list recognizes excellence in personal finance instruction among its national network of roughly 1,000 schools in 49 states that participate in its Financial Literacy Certification program.

The Financial Literacy Certification program provides schools instructional resources to support personal finance instruction. Manor was selected for the Top 100 list based on its average test score in the culminating Financial Literacy Certification Test. Students who pass the test earn the nationally-recognized credential of Certified Financially Literate™ (CFL).

W!SE is an educational nonprofit based in New York City with a mission to improve the lives of young people and at-risk adults through programs that develop financial literacy and readiness for college and the workforce.

A special shout out to instructors Aimee Thomas and Chad Penley for their amazing work!
