Forty‑two students from Virginia High School’s Computer Information Systems classes have achieved a significant academic milestone by passing the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) PowerPoint Certification exam. Although not all students are pictured, each of the 42 honorees demonstrated advanced mastery of industry‑recognized presentation skills.
The MOS PowerPoint credential validates a student’s ability to create, manage, and deliver professional‑quality presentations—skills highly valued in both college and career settings. Earning this certification gives students a competitive advantage, strengthening college applications while enhancing workplace readiness in fields that rely on strong digital communication.
Instructional technology staff and CIS teachers praised the students for their dedication and effort in preparing for the exam, noting that the credential reflects both technical proficiency and commitment to professional growth.
This achievement highlights Virginia High School’s ongoing focus on equipping students with real‑world skills that translate directly into future academic and career success.
