The Library Media Specialist, Dr. Hale, is responsible for both the Washington-Lee Library and the Highland View Library.

The Mission Statement:

The mission of the library is to empower students and teacher/staff to become enthusiastic readers, critical thinkers, skillful researchers, and ethical users and creators of information. The enrichment of student achievement in a global environment is a top priority.

Our Library

The Washington-Lee library collection is composed of more than 7,000 books and reference materials.  Students have access to two computers in the library which can be used to search for books in the online Destiny Catalog.  The computers can also be used for research and to search databases on the Internet.

The Washington-Lee Library Media Center is located on the main office hall.
