My Jersey, Your Impact is a Virginia High School football tradition that gives student-athletes the opportunity to recognize a teacher or staff member who has made a meaningful difference in their lives. Each player selects an educator who has positively influenced them and presents that individual with their football jersey to wear on Friday. Players also write personal letters explaining why they chose that staff member, making the recognition both public and deeply personal. The program celebrates the lasting impact that teachers and school employees have on students both inside and outside the classroom.
