We are beginning our unit on Probability with our Guest Teacher, Ms. Mays. Below is the daily checklist you will need to complete. This will be your daily math assignment for Schoology. If you have any questions, send me a message in Schoology or in Class Dojo.

Day 1:

• Schoology: Watch Probability video lessons parts 1 and 2
• Play a probability game

  • Likely, certain, outcome, fair game, possible, probability, impossible, unlikely, equally likely

 

Day 2:

• Schoology: Re-watch Probability video lessons parts 1 and 2
• Play a probability game

• Complete a probability activity at home (like flipping a coin 50 times and record to see what outcomes they got) (Choose 1 of the experiments below--there is a video to explain each option in Schoology)

• Assessment in Schoology
  • Probability Test

Hey Awesome Third Graders!

 

I wanted to let you know that our Guest Teacher will still be joining us even though we aren't in the classroom. I'm super excited to have her introduce herself to you. She will be uploading a video introduction into Schoology in the next couple of days. Also, she will be presenting new lessons using videos and practice games/materials uploaded in Schoology as well. You all will enjoy this tremendously! Reminder: be sure to complete your daily work just as though you were in the classroom! There should be no surprises, especially since our daily schedule is the SAME as it was when we were in the classroom.
