The National Honor Society gives upcoming graduates a chance to further their volunteer experience in the community. The Juniors and Seniors selected to be in the National Honor Society are required to have a GPA of at least 3.5 (not rounded), leadership and service in the school and community, and a good standing in the school. Previous volunteer projects include:
- Haven of Rest Soup Kitchen
- Ushering at the Paramount, Santa Pals
- Salvation Army Soup Kitchen
- Salvation Food Boxes and Toys during Christmas
- Taking the Group Home on picnics
The National Honor Society has recently started accepting new members in the fall in order to give seniors a final chance to raise their GPA and become a part of this organization.
