Virginia Primary School has a new greenhouse courtesy of the CIS Growing Hearts and Minds Gardening Grant. First grade students will be growing veggies to take home at the end of the school year and are learning key social skills, like responsibility and learning healthy coping skills. Other grades and teachers are going to utilize the garden and greenhouse area to help teach science lessons and to also provide students with a new outdoor calm down area. A very special thank you to Adam Dale for constructing the greenhouse over the last two days. Our students, teachers and staff are so thankful for you!
