September is National School Attendance Awareness Month and October is National Bullying Prevention Month. In an effort to address the issue of good school attendance and bullying, Bristol Tennessee City Schools and Bristol Virginia Public Schools are coming together in September and October for a celebration of “Unity in Community” with various activities planned for students to learn how to identify bullying and stand up to it safely. “Unity in Community” will kick off on Friday, September 7, with a Community Service Fair at the 2018 V-T football game. Various community agencies and local colleges and universities will highlight their services to our communities. Please stop by and check out their exhibits at the Stone Castle prior to the V-T Football game.
