Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am proud to announce that both the Virginia High Boys Soccer and Baseball teams will be advancing to the VHSL Class 2 Semifinals coming up this Friday, June 8th in the New River Valley.
In Class 2 State quarterfinal boys soccer, Virginia High defeated Nelson Co. by a score of 2-1.
In Class 2 State quarterfinal baseball, Virginia High defeated Appomattox Co. by a score of 4-1.
As of now according to the brackets on the VHSL website-
The Bearcat Soccer team will play at Radford University on Friday at 3pm in the state semifinals.
The Bearcat Baseball team will play at Calfee Park on Friday at 1pm in the state semifinals.
We will send out more information once dates and times are confirmed.
