Basketball -- Swim & Dive -- Wrestling

Wednesday and Thursday

Your varsity Bearcat Girls basketball team will host Richlands in the SWD Semifinals Thursday at 7:30pm.  Marion and Graham will play at 6pm and admission is $8 and with this being a district tournament event VHS student ID’s nor BVPS badges are valid for admission. 

Also the Bearcat Swim and Dive teams are competing in the Class 2 State Championships in Richmond with diving on Wednesday and Swimming on Thursday.

We will have a state send off for the VHS Bearcat Wrestling team at 2pm on Tuesday as they prepare to head to the Salem CC for the Class 2 State Championships.

Basketball

Your varsity Bearcat Boys basketball team will host Marion in the SWD Semifinals Friday at 7:30pm.  Graham and Richlands will play at 6pm and admission is $8 and with this being a district tournament event VHS Student ID’s nor BVPS badges are valid for admission. 

Both Bearcat Basketball teams will play on Saturday as VHS will host the SWD consolation and championship games.  Girls consolation will start at 3pm, with the boys consolation starting at 4:30pm, girls championship at 6pm, and boys championship at 7:30pm- admission will be $8 and again we cannot accept VHS Student ID’s or BVPS Badges.

Indoor Track -- Winter Guard

Also our Bearcat Indoor Track Teams will be at Roanoke College for the Regional Championships and to our wrestlers competing in the state tournament today and Saturday.   On Saturday, the Pride of the Stateline Winter Guard will be competing in Roanoke.
