Dr. Tim Duncan has been with Bristol Virginia Public Schools since 2018 and has been in public education for over 20 years. He earned his B.S. Degree in History/Social Science from Emory & Henry College, M.S. in Educational Leadership from Radford University, and Ed.D. in School Leadership from East Tennessee State University. Prior to coming to Bristol Virginia Public Schools, Dr. Duncan served as Principal of John I. Burton High School in Norton, VA and Middle School Principal at Northwood Middle in Rich Valley, VA. He and his wife Melinda reside in Emory, VA and have four children Bailey, Sophie, Will, and Madison. 

Mr. Brad Harper serves as Director of Student Activities for VHS and Director of Transportation for BVPS. He earned his B.S. in Sports Medicine from High Point University and his M.S. in Educational Leadership from Longwood University and has been in public education for over 25 years. Prior to coming to Bristol Virginia Public Schools, Mr. Harper served as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for Appomattox County High School. He and his wife Carmen have three children; Nathan, Caroline, and Annie.
