Swim Team
The Margaret H St. John Pool is twenty-five yards long and has six lanes for competitive swimming. The pool also has a twelve foot diving well and a diving board.
Recently, a Colorado Timing six lane score board was purchased and set up for use by the swim teams at meets.
The Virginia High School pool supports three BVPS swim teams:
Summer Swim League
The Virginia High Summer Swim Team is for those swimmers who would like to try competitive swimming for the first time or for those who just want to stay in shape for the regular season.
This team competes in various meets against other summer swim teams during June and July. Swimmers compete in their age groups. Children can start as young as 6 IF they are experienced swimmers.
WE ARE HAVING A SUMMER SWIM TEAM FOR THE SUMMER OF 2024
BEGINNING ON JUNE 10, 2024 at 5 pm
Practice will be Mondays-Thursdays 5pm-6:30pm
Cost is $80 per person
