Parents and teachers are a few of the most influential people in the lives of our children, especially during their elementary years.  With parents and teachers working together, we can enhance student life and enrich the learning environment even more! The Van Pelt Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) welcomes new and returning Van Pelt families.


The purpose of the PTO is to support the facility, staff, parents and especially our students. We coordinate family events for the Van Pelt community and volunteer to support the school in many different ways. In order for us to be effective we need the support and involvement of our parents and family members. There are several ways to be part of and support the Van Pelt PTO.


  • Become a PTO member.  Membership fee is $5 per person per school year.  Membership fees help fund school activities all year long. Any family member/friend may join. 


  • Participate in the events and programs that will be planned throughout the school year. Whether you are on a committee or volunteer by attending events…your time and involvement is certainly appreciated.


  • Follow us on Facebook!  Find updates and announcements of events, fundraisers, volunteer needs at “Van Pelt Elementary PTO” group page.
