Be a part of our new and exciting program for all staff as we begin celebrating the BEST (Be the Difference; Enriching Relationships; Student Excellence; Treasured Colleague) of the Bearcats!!!  Students, parents, colleagues, and community members have the opportunity to nominate any employee for superior performance/contribution to our division and community. 

Nomination/specific criteria include:

• The nomination form and recommendation form must be completed and submitted to Human Resources ([email protected] or fax 276-821-5604).   The attached nomination form is the first step of the nomination process.  Once that is received and reviewed the recommendation form will be sent to the nominator for completion.  Feel free to attach photos or documents to your recommendation.
• Individuals must be employed at the time the award is given.
• Winners and nominators cannot be nominated again within 6 months of receiving the award.
• All employees have the opportunity to nominate any of their teammates. However, the hope is that students, parents and community members will participate as well. 
• Administrative staff is excluded from submitting nominations.
• All nomination forms must be received by the 25th of every month.
• The BEST of the Bearcats nominees will be announced to all staff via e-mail, they will be posted on our website, and highlighted on our social media outlets.   
• The selected employees will have the opportunity to select a gift from our community sponsors (more detailed information is coming)!
• Our technology department will promote on the website, Facebook, and any other social media outlets in order to make the program fully accessible to parents and community members.

This will give us all a unique opportunity to begin looking for the positive in each other and supporting our colleagues as we recognize the BEST of the Bearcats!!
