Did your child miss the Flu Vaccination Clinic? Attention Parents and Guardians:If your child missed getting a flu vaccination at our In-School Flu Vaccination Clinic in October, it is not too late to get your flu vaccine at our local Health Department or your Health Care Provider. Getting a flu vaccination is one of the best ways to prevent the flu. Influenza is a very contagious respiratory illness. Be sure to wash your hands frequently, cover your cough and stay at home if you are sick. Help prevent the spread of illnesses. For more information on MISSTHEFLU, go to:
Hero Cords for Seniors - You Can Help! The senior class of 2017 has taken up the challenge to be the first graduating class to have 100% of the graduates awarded the red cord. If a senior donates blood 3 times during their senior year, or has a representative donate for them, they will be awarded a red cord to wear at graduation. If we have all of our seniors earn a red cord, Marsh will award three seniors a $1000 scholarship. Our next blood drive will be December 9th at VHS or anyone over the age of 17 may visit MARSH blood center on West State Street to donate. The donor must have the name of the senior they are donating for. Please help the seniors accomplish this task and donate blood for your senior or for a senior who cannot give blood.
