The VHS Scholastic Bowl team took first place at the VHSL District Tournament on January 19th at Southwest Virginia Community College in Cedar Bluff: (l-r) Brayden Wilson, Chandler Bowman, Lucy Heffinger (captain), Ridley Little, Amelia Austin, Bryce Cheers, Aaron Van Nostrand, and Madison Harosky. Lucy also qualified for All-District.  The team will go to Regionals on February 2nd. Go, Bearcats!!!
