In-School Flu Vaccination Clinic for Students-October 19th, 2018
Our Flu Vaccination Clinic for students, will be held in all 6 schools on Friday October 19th.
Influenza is a very contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year. The Mount Rogers Health District in partnership with the Bristol Virginia Public Schools is offering the vaccination to all students free of charge. Medicaid or insurance may be billed but parents will not be charged or billed. In order to receive the vaccine, students must be signed up and have parent or guardian consent. Information packets will be sent home or are available for you to download.
