TDAP Immunization information for 6th grade students:
Effective July 1, 2014 a booster dose of TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) was required of all children entering 6th grade in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Failure to receive the immunization before entering 6th grade for the 2018-19 school year may result in your child being excluded from school. If your child has received the immunization and you have not sent documentation to your child’s school, please bring a copy to Virginia Middle School. Vaccines or questions regarding your child’s immunizations are offered at your local Health Department or Health Care Provider.
