Flu Vaccine Information Sheet

 Influenza is a very contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year.  The Mount Rogers Health District in partnership with the Bristol Virginia Public Schools will be offering the vaccination to all students free of charge on October 27th.  Medicaid or insurance may be billed, but parents will not be charged or billed. If you would like for your child to receive the flu vaccine,  please complete the parental consent form, and return to your child’s school as soon as possible.
