The Bristol Virginia School Board (the Board) invites bids from qualified vendors for the lawn
mowing and grounds maintenance of seven (7) locations.

It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify any and all location grounds before submitting
a bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for securing any and all permits needed from the City
of Bristol.

All services provided by the Contractor shall be consistent with quality standards of grounds
maintenance industry.

SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS

Sealed bids must be in the Bristol Virginia School Board Office, 220 Lee Street, Bristol, VA
24201, no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, February 13, 2020. The
official time clock is located in the Finance Conference Room (Room 238) at Bristol Virginia
School Board Office, 220 Lee Street, Bristol, VA 24201. No FAXED bids will be accepted. Bids
received after the specified time will be considered non-responsive.

Sealed bids must be submitted on the provided “Bid Form” in a sealed envelope/package, clearly
marked “IFB # 03-2019/20 –Lawn Mowing and Grounds Maintenance”.
