Scott DeBusk  grew up in rural Lee County, Virginia where he joined the band in the 4th grade.  He played the trumpet through high school and continued in college performing with the Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, and the Jazz Orchestra at Virginia Tech.  After graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, he worked in Lee County at eight different schools during an eleven year period teaching general music, elementary band, and high school band.  Currently, he is teaching general music for Bristol Virginia Public Schools at Washington Lee and Stonewall Jackson Elementary schools.
