ABOUT THE TEACHER:

I teach Title I Reading for Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade.  I love teaching reading.  There is no greater joy than looking into the eyes of a child when he or she realizes, “Yes, I can do this!”   I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Education as a Reading Specialist from East Tennessee State University.

MISSION:

My mission is to foster a deep interest and appreciation for the wonderful world of Reading. We will be exploring countless avenues of learning throughout the year and I invite all parents to take the journey with us.
