All About Me!

    Hi! I'm Mrs. Caudell. I have been teaching Kindergarten here at Highland View since 1999. I graduated from Virginia Intermont in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with certification grades K-6. After graduation, I became a pre-school teacher at Spring Garden Pre-school in the four year old class. I later began to substitute in both the Sullivan County and Bristol City, TN school systems.

    As a teenager, I grew up in south Florida with a love for horses and spent many years riding and showing horses. I found my love for children while teaching Summer Horse Camp to young children. I also babysat for local families. When it became time for me to go to college, I visited Virginia Intermont and fell in love with this area. The mountains, green fields and cool breezes lured me here from the hot, sunny south.

    I still love my horses and continue to ride occasionally. However, the majority of my free time is now spent with my husband, Shannon, my four year old son, Wesley and my new baby, Wyatt.
