I found this site to be entertaining, but also useful. It gives some
great ways to break up the monotony of long typing periods. Perfect for
those who sit at a computer all day.

This site has been newly redesigned and provides standards-based content,
collaborative learning opportunities, and educational games for enhancing your
classroom activities. Also featured on the site are school-to-career
resources, Web publishing tools, lesson plans, grade-specific information,
and discussion forums.

This is a great place to spend hours of time. Bill Nye's Labs Online
provides information about certain topics, you can visit the Episode Guide
under the Teachers Lounge and then choose from the list of topics. Check out the
TV Guide calendar for upcoming shows/topics.
Be sure and try some of the experiments under Home Demos. These can be done at
home or at school.

Amazing Picture Machine
If you are looking for the perfect place to find pictures to use in
reports and lessons, then you want to check out this site. It is great for
students and teachers. Just type in your topic and a list of pictures is
only a mouse click away!

Weather Eye is sponsored by a television station in Iowa and contains a
series of lesson plans for grades 2-8. There are also lessons for grades
6-12. There is a Parent's Corner which offers ways to encourage children to
think about and participate in Science. Lots of great information for
Teachers too!

This site is what every teacher has been looking for to assist
them. This is where Educators Go To Learn. Teachers can browse the
database, learn about the features of the week, visit the lesson-planning
center, keep up to date on education news, and submit their own lesson
plans. Financial planning hints are even available! This site needs
to be at the top of every teachers favorites!

Internet lesson plans on MANY topics are available here. These
plans were created by teachers. Tracks can be copied and edited to suit
the needs of your students. There is a searchable database by topic,
