Students in the Fifth Grade completed Hyperstudio Presentations which included the five groups of Native Americans they had been studying.  These groups are the Haida, the Anasazi, the Pawnee, the Iroquois, and the Aztecs.  The students searched the Internet for information and graphics to include in the presentations.  They were able to present them to the class during a lab period.

Simple Machines

Science SOL 3.2

The Third Grade classes have studied the six kinds of simple machines (Science SOL 3.2).  They took the information they learned and made Hyperstudio Slide shows which included pictures of different kinds of machines.  It was a great learning experience for them!

The Solar System

Science SOL 4.7

Fourth Graders completed a Solar System Web Quest.  The students were put on teams and each assigned a different planet to "visit".  They made patches for their team and then began to explore their planet.  Each student created their own Solar System. The project ended with an E-card to Mission Control with details about their adventure.
