ABOUT ME:

    I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. I began my teaching career in Richmond, Virginia at Saint Joseph's Villa where I was the elementary teacher for the multi-disabled classroom. I then taught at Beaumont Juvenile Correctional Center working as a resource teacher for the incarcerated students. In 2003 I moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia and after one year teaching 6th grade math and science moved to Bristol, Virginia where I currently teach at VMS and the Bristol Virginia City Jail.

Class Expectations/Rules

• Raise your hand.
• Use good manners ~remember "the golden rule."
• Follow directions.
• Be seated and on task when the tardy bell rings.

• pencils
• loose leaf paper
• 1 pack index cards

Incentives

Students can earn a sticker each day for completing assignments and displaying appropriate behavior. At the end of each week and grading period the students can turn in their stickers for rewards.
