Communication

Your child will have a special folder that they will bring home each day. In the folder you will find a daily sheet which will tell you what your child did that particular day. Also, important papers will be included in this folder. Any notes, money, excuses that you need to send, please return in this folder.

Attendance

If your child is absent, please call us each day by 9:30 A.M. at 276-821-5788 (room) or 276-821-5770 (office) or e-mail lstout@bvps.org. Please remember we must have a written excuse from parents or doctor when your child returns to school.

Change of Clothes

Please send a (season appropriate) complete change of clothing for your child in case of accident. Also, please remember we go out each day and your child needs a coat and hat when it is cold outside.

Themes

Each month we learn about a new topic (Theme of the Month). Your child’s daily sheet will have what we did that particular day. Please remember this is a perfect way to improve your child’s language by reading the daily sheet and discussing it with your child.
