The Title I Reading program is a federally funded program established for the remediation of the struggling reader. Title I Reading supports the reading program in the classroom and does not replace it. The Title I Program at Highland View is a pull-out program in which small groups of students leave the classroom to work in the Title I lab. Students are referred by the classroom teachers, and students with the greatest need are placed in the program first.
