Hello, my name is Leslie Wheeler! I want to start by
saying that I am so excited that you are coming to my classroom.
I love my job so much because I absolutely adore young
children. I have lived in
Bristol all my life except for the time that I spent at college. I
attended college at East Tennessee State University and graduated
with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to
teach grades Preschool through 4th grade.
This year will be my third year of teaching, and I look forward to
spending it with you.
This
summer I had an exciting event happen in my life. I married my
boyfriend of 5 years. I also now have a wonderful son named Isaiah. He will be starting
second grade this year. I am so
excited for him. I enjoy
spending my time showing
Isaiah how wonderful life can be.
In my free time, I coach the high school swim team Virginia
High School. I also love being outside and hope to take you out to
our playground every chance we get.
I have one dog named Sparky, and my father has a big black
Labrador named Caesar. I
like to visit Caesar and take him on walks.
I am so excited to have you in my classroom. My co-workers and I have many fun and exciting activities planned for you this year. I asked my principal to give me the best and brightest children. And here you are in my class! Isn’t she the best principal ever? I look forward to seeing you on August 15th.
