Rules:
These rules will be in effect at all times in my classroom as well as in
special classes.
1. Follow directions, signals, and procedures the first time.
2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
3. Use appropriate voice (tone and volume) and language.
4. Raise your hand and wait your turn to speak.
5. Respect other people and property.
Consequences:
We will be using a system of colored strips. Each child begins the week
with a green strip in the front of his/her behavior chart pocket. The goal
is to remain on green the whole week.
If a student chooses to break a rule, the following occurs:
1. 1st 2 times -- Warnings/Reminders. Student moves one of the three green strips.
2. 3rd time -- Student moves to yellow and will have silent lunch.
3. 4th time-- Student moves to orange and will lose free time.
4. 5th time-- Student moves to red and the student will write a letter home explaining why moved to red.
**Severe misbehavior such as fighting, threatening students or teachers, or verbal abuse will result in the student being immediately sent to the Principal.
