All About Mrs. Wise

 

 

     This is my 7th year teaching at Van Pelt and I love it!  I taught English in 4th and 5th grade for 4 years.  This is my third year teaching 3rd grade and it is so rewarding.  It is wonderful to enter the classroom, see smiling faces, and know there is a desire to learn there.

    I graduated from Emory and Henry college in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.  I am certified to teach Preschool - 8th grade.

    I live on a farm in Abingdon, Virginia with my husband and two children.  I love living on the farm and can't imagine living anywhere else.  We have a variety of animals on the farm which include:  horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, a guinea pig and a chinchilla.  We also have a corn maze that we open in the fall of the year.
