It is a pleasure working with your child in our Title I Program. What is Title I? Each school that receives Title I funds has the choice of which subject to supplement. This decision is based on test scores from the previous year. Most schools choose reading but some chose to help students in math as well. At Stonewall Jackson, we have chosen reading as our weakest link. Also, we are very fortunate to have a state of the art software program at Stonewall Jackson that we use with first, second, and third graders. Fast ForWord was purchased for our school last year. It has been a wonderful experience working with students on this program. I have also noticed a difference in my own focus since using this program. It is never too late to improve your brain.
