Students at Highland View Elementary School are fortunate to have community volunteers who are willing to come to school twice a week to partner with them in reading.  Reading Partners are active members of the community, retired teachers, and local college students aspiring to become teachers.  The partners are trained  by the reading specialist to use reading strategies that will assure students' improvement, growth, and progress.  Families who would like to request an opportunity for their child to receive help from a Reading Partner should contact Mrs. Hull or their child's teacher.
