Classroom Expectations

1.       Follow directions the first time given.

2.       Keep feet, hands and objects to yourself.

3.       Talk with permission only.

4.  Respect and encourage each other.

CONSEQUENCES

After a warning, students will have their name placed on the board.  They will receive a check mark for each subsequent time they do not follow classroom expectations.  Each check mark results in 5 minutes missed of recess.  If a student should receive 3 check marks, they forfeit all play for that day and receive a color change.  If their color changes from green to yellow, they miss our end of the six weeks treat.  This treat is a movie and a snack.  If their color changes to red, they will have a note sent home and a conference will be conducted to discuss the behavior.

All students will be aware of all expectations and consequences from the beginning of the year.

A daily behavior report will be sent home to inform parents of any problems or situations that may arise throughout the day.

REWARDS

Students will be rewarded with stamps or stickers each time they are "caught being good".  These stamps can be traded in once per week for a treat from the treasure box.  Students will also have positive reinforcement through oral praise and complimentary notes home to parents for good behavior.
