The Music Room! This site was
designed to explain the philosophy and goal of the elementary music
program in the Bristol Virginia Public Schools, provide a calendar for PTA
programs, and suggest some great music sites for children.

| Mrs. Judy Dowe has been the music teacher at Van Pelt Elementary and Highland View Elementary for seventeen years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Intermont College. Mrs. Dowe is a member of several professional organizations including the Music Educators National Conference; the American Orff-Schulwerk Association; the Virginia Music Educators Association; and the National Education Association. Mrs. Dowe is certified to teach vocal music in grades K-12 by the Virginia Department of Education. | ||
