Plan for Illness or Injury

Student Illness -

The student notifies a teacher or other individual.  The student is sent to the office to have temperature checked.  The student is then referred to the nurse or principal for final determination.  If at all possible the student is encouraged to stay at school.  If this is not possible then the parent is notified.  We will have a school nurse for half a day.

Student Injury -

Minor injuries may be treated by the school nurse, teacher or someone in the office.  In case of a serious injury the directions on the registration card are to be followed.  Accident reports are completed by the teacher the child was with when the accident occurred.  There reports are then turned into the principal.  Please complete forms within 24 hours of injury.
