Federal Credit Union

The Bristol Virginia School System Federal Credit Union offers the following services:

Membership:
Any employee of the Bristol Virginia Public Schools is eligible to join in the credit union at any time during the year.

Savings Account:
We offer our members the convenience of payroll deducted savings.  To join the credit union you must purchase a share of $5 or make a payroll deduction deposit.  A balance of $5.00 must be maintained to keep the account open.

Summer Savings:
Our Summer Savings program is offered to our members who work on a ten or eleven month contract and would like to have a "payday" in July and/or August.  You can open this account in addition to the regular savings account. You decide the amount you would like taken out of each payroll check.

Loans:
We offer signature loans to our members at competitive rate.  A credit application must be completed.  The applications are available at any of the schools or at the central office.

Privacy Notice:
The Bristol Virginia School System Federal Credit Union collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications and other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

We do not disclose any nonpublic information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. 

If you decide to terminate your membership or become and inactive member, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

Bristol Virginia School System Federal Credit Union restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic information.
