| Elizabeth Rush - I hold an
Associate of Arts and Science Degree from Virginia Highlands Community
College. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Intermont
College. I am licensed to teach Pre-K through 6th grade in
regular education and K-12 in special education. I am endorsed to teach
students that are Mentally Retarded (MR), Specific Learning Disabled (SLD),
Other Health Impaired (OHI), Developmentally Delayed (DD), and/or
Emotionally Disturbed (ED). This is my 7th year of teaching.
I was a special education teacher in Washington County, Virginia for
four years. For the past 3 years I have been a special
education teacher for Emotionally Disturbed students.
This class was housed at Highland View Elementary School 2 years ago and
is currently located at Van Pelt Elementary School.
Lori Worley -
Mrs. Worley was a graduate of Virginia Intermont College. She has been a
parent volunteer at Van Pelt in the past. This is her first year
as an academic assistant. She is also on the Special Education
Advisory Committee.
