My name is Carter Miles.  I have been teaching for thirty-seven years, and this is my tenth year at Stonewall Jackson. I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a masters in special education. This year I will be teaching fourth and fifth grade paragraph writing and one class of fifth grade math. I am really looking forward to this year.

     I have two dogs that I adore. One is a black and tan dachshund, and the other is part miniature Doberman and part Chihuahua. I have one daughter Marti that lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. My pride and joy is my nine month old granddaughter Audrey. You'll be hearing a lot about her and seeing lots of pictures.
