Margaret H. St. John Swimming Pool
The pool is now open on Saturdays from 1 - 5 pm. Cost of admission is $5.00. We will be closed on March 30 and April 6 2024 for Spring Break.
Offers activities for everyone. Swim lessons, Swim Team, and Public Swim are all available during the spring and summer. The pool is available for anyone who wishes to use it regardless of where they live or work. Directions are available at the bottom of this page. American Red Cross Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor classes are also offered at the pool.

As of June 1, 2023 the cost of admission is $5.00 per person.

From I-81 Exit 3.
Come off the interstate and follow the road into town. Go through two stoplights and at the third one, take a left onto Glenway Avenue. Continue up the road toward Virginia High School. At the stop signs at the top of the hill, go straight. Continue down and take a left onto Green Acres Road. Go straight and the track/pool parking lot will be on the right.
From I-81 Exit 5.
Coming off the exit ramp at Exit 5, take a left onto Lee Highway. Follow the highway through two stoplights. At the third light across from Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy, take a right onto Valley Drive. Continue straight past Virginia High School, keeping the State Street Methodist Church. At the top of the hill turn left onto Green Acres Road and turn left into the track parking lot.
From I-81 Exit 3.
