Hello boys and girls!
We hope you are each doing well!  Here are daily assignments for you to complete at your own pace.  To access each lesson, click on each week as they are posted and all 5 days will be listed with links included to help you find the resources.  Remember you have your review work that was sent home on Friday, March 13, 2020, (March Math Packet, Math/Reading combo pages, and I-ready pages to work on as well.  We have also inlcuded some fun optional activities that we think you may enjoy and will try to continue to add more as we find them!

Week 1 March 23- March 27, 2020
 
DAY 1 (3/23)
*Students will complete 2 I-ready Lessons with a passing grade of 85% accessed through Clever. 
*Student will do Brain Pop Jr. lesson and quiz under: Math, Time, quarter and half hour (Pass with at least 4 stars.)
*Do offline March Math Pack pack pages 29-30. (The one with Leprechauns on the front.)
 
Day 2 (3/24)
*Students will complete 20 minutes of Reflex Math work. (Make sure to get your green dot for the day.)
*Do offline March Math Pack pack pages 31. (The one with Leprechauns on the front.)
*Free Choice Activity:
                                   Any other offline math work that was sent home: 1 page
                                   Room Recess
                                   Epic: Read a math book and make sure to take the quiz if it has one.
 
DAY 3 (3/25)
*Students will complete 2 I-ready Lessons with a passing grade of 85% accessed through Clever.

** Parents, be aware that Science and Social Studies content is being covered. They are located on Ms. Ward's web page through the Scholastic daily reading and activities that she has assigned for the week. I did not want to cause any confusion about the assignments by re-posting them here on my web page.

 *Draw a picture of what you thing the Easter Bunny will bring to your house this year! Also, draw or a design an Easter Bunny trap! Let's see who will send me a picture so I can post to Facebook group and Dojo Class story.

We are in one of our busiest weather months of the year so far. Even the old saying, "April showers bring May flowers." comes to mind. We were to have our tornado drill on March 17, 2020 but due to our current circumstances we weren't able to. So, listen to a Mini Science lesson that explains why tornadoes are hard so predict.  *Use objects from home with your parents permission (legos, letters on paper, drawings, photographs) to create a figure with a line of symmetry. Take a picture of your creation so I can post on our Facebook group page and Class Dojo Story!

Do any Room Recess math activity or Adopt a Tree, your favorite tree just like in our Giving Tree story on Monday. With your parents permission pick a nearby tree that is special to you and spend time observing and learning about the tree.  “Adopt” your tree and keep a journal (you could use this Adopt a Tree Journal template here: https://www.plt.org/family-activity/adopt-a-tree/ to record and analyze information you collect over time. Use this to help you really get to know about that special tree in your life on nature walks over the rest of this semester or summer.
